Job Summary
Sell electrical acceptance and maintenance testing services, power distribution products, and engineering services to industrial, utility, commercial, and data center customers throughout the DFW region. Establish and maintain relationships by performing weekly site visits, preparing competitive quotes, proposals, and sales contracts, and entering customer data into the CRM database. Meet or exceed sales goals by developing new accounts, planning long-term sales work, and utilizing CRM dashboards to forecast opportunities. Travel through the assigned territory with a company vehicle. Requirements include a valid driver's license, 2–4 years of technical sales experience, and NETA certification eligibility. Sign-on bonuses and tuition reimbursement are available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience selling electrical testing and engineering services, preferably with a NETA testing company
- Two to Four years of sales experience in a technical or industrial setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer concerns effectively
- Proven track record in field service sales and customer service success
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to close deals
- Results-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in CRM software and other technology tools for sales planning and communication
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical expertise in Data Centers, Heavy Commercial, and Industrial
- Preferred experience in power distribution, including switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, transformers, and relays
