Job Summary
Drive Starlink integration engagements with third-party networking vendors, collaborating on joint value propositions and technical solution guides to enable customers and internal sales teams. Work closely with product engineering to onboard completed solutions into internal test environments while answering customer questions regarding Starlink's third-party integration efforts. Consult with engineering on best practices, reference architectures, and technical guides demonstrating integration details and value propositions. Represent Starlink at conferences and events to support the broader Enterprise Sales team in meeting revenue targets. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish/Portuguese, 3+ years of technical sales experience, and extensive hands-on enterprise network infrastructure deployment skills. Travel approximately 50% of the time, including to customer locations, with availability for extended hours and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or 3+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of professional experience in technical sales
- 3+ years of professional hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise network infrastructure
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including to customer locations and other SpaceX locations
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish/Portuguese
- Industry recognized Computer Networking Certifications
- Demonstrated aptitude to learn new technical skills
- Coachable interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting using packet capture or TCP dump analysis
- Highly detail oriented, diligent, and hard working with excellent customer interface skills
- Coachable proficiency in one or many common domains of computer networking: Common IETF and 3GPP standards
- Network monitoring with sFlow, RFC 2544, Y.1564, TWAMP, POLQA
- TCP, IPv4, IPv6, LACP, VLAN, DSCP, COS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, OSFP and BGP
- Tunneling methodologies including IPSEC, VXLAN, MPLS, and L2/L3VPN
- SD-WAN solutions
- Linux networking and user-space network stack
- Coachable proficiency with at least one programming/scripting language
