Job Summary
Technical Sales and Field Service Engineer at CaptiveAire focusing on growing existing customer relationships and developing new business. Responsibilities include outside sales meetings and calls, application engineering to apply products using engineering principles, project management of installations, and technical service/support for existing equipment. The role involves educating end users on kitchen ventilation solutions, researching new business opportunities, and maintaining high levels of customer service. Day-to-day tasks include inside sales support, bid development, on-site visits, remote troubleshooting, and territory development with 2-3 office days, 1-2 site days, and dedicated territory development time. Qualifications include 2-5 years of experience, a 4-year technical degree in mechanical/electrical/construction/science disciplines, strong communication/presentation skills, willingness to travel for training, and pursuit of FE/PE credentials.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience
- 4 year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum preferred
- Excellent computer, organizational and communication/presentation skills
- Problem solving with a passion for continuous learning

- If not already completed, expectation of FE Exam completion in area of study for engineering graduates within 6 months of employment with CaptiveAire
