Job Summary
Lead and manage safety and risk projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Perform advanced technical analysis including Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), gas and smoke dispersion modeling, pipeline risk assessments, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies. Facilitate workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA, and prepare comprehensive safety cases and high-quality reports with clear calculation justifications. Suggest design improvements to reduce risk and enhance operational safety while supporting ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development. This role shapes safer operations across the Asia Pacific region, particularly in Japan, influencing critical decisions for global leaders in process safety and sustainable growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering)
- 5–9 years of experience in safety and risk consulting
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong project management skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Business-level English proficiency
