Job Summary
Lead and manage safety and risk projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Perform advanced technical analysis, including Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), gas and smoke dispersion modeling, pipeline risk assessments, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies. Facilitate workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA, and prepare comprehensive safety cases and high-quality reports with clear calculations. Support Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in governance and client engagement while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team development. This role shapes safer operations across Asia Pacific, enabling global leaders to protect lives, assets, and the environment through sustainable growth strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering)
- 5–9 years of experience in safety and risk consulting
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong project management skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to travel and work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Business-level English proficiency
