Job Summary
Lead and manage safety and risk projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Perform advanced technical analysis including Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), gas and smoke dispersion modeling, pipeline risk assessments, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies. Facilitate workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, Bowtie, and ALARP while preparing comprehensive safety cases and high-quality reports with clear calculations. Suggest design improvements to reduce risk and enhance operational safety. Support Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in project governance and client engagement. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development. This role supports ERM's Asia Pacific and Japan operations, driving sustainable growth and resilient safety standards for global clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering)
- 5–9 years of experience in safety and risk consulting
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong project management skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel and work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Business-level English proficiency
