Job Summary
Support technical safety and risk projects by performing analysis, modeling, and calculations under the guidance of senior team members. Develop Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) models using Excel. Conduct fire and explosion modeling, gas and smoke dispersion modeling using CFD or empirical tools. Perform risk calculations and non-flammable hazard analysis; contribute to Escape, Temporary Refuge, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (ETRERA) for offshore facilities. Participate in safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP) as a scribe and assist in client reporting. Prepare sections of safety cases and high-quality reports with clear diagrams and explained calculations. Support proposal preparation and attend client meetings as required, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety protocols. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree or professional registration is a plus) and at least 3 years in safety and risk analysis projects; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and travel as needed.
