Job Summary
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mission-critical systems by performing workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition. Act as an expert liaison between customers and the development team to manage expectations, while facilitating sprint execution, functional testing, and reviews with Task Leads, Scrum Masters, and developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit and document requirements, articulate intricate technical details to various audiences, and coordinate the design of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment. Work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD with one remote day weekly, requiring an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and full scope polygraph.
Required Qualifications
- An active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
- Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
- Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
- Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Desired Qualifications
- Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
- Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
