Job Summary
Technical Recruiter to lead engineering hiring at Picogrid. Own full-cycle recruiting for hardware, software, systems, and field roles, partnering with leadership to define hiring needs and build role profiles. Design and optimize recruiting processes from sourcing to interviews to offers; source, engage, and close high-caliber candidates across multiple disciplines; build and manage Picogrid’s talent pipeline for critical roles; represent Picogrid’s mission and culture in candidate interactions. Requirements include 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting with at least 3 years focused on software/hardware technical recruiting, ability to source and close top technical talent in competitive markets, experience recruiting for early-stage startups/defense/aerospace/frontier tech, excellent communication, strong organizational and data-driven approach, and a mission-oriented mindset. Compensation includes a base salary range of $120,000-$150,000 per year, significant stock options, 401(k) with employer matching, full health coverage, relocation assistance, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and other benefits. Location is El Segundo, CA with on-site office in California; export-control compliance applies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on software and hardware technical recruiting
- Proven ability to source and close top technical talent in competitive markets
- Experience recruiting for early-stage startups, defense, aerospace, or frontier technology is a strong plus
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder both internally and externally
- Highly organized and data-driven; you track metrics and iterate systems
- Mission-oriented: you want to solve hard problems that matter to national defense
