Technical Recruiter

Job Summary
Consult hiring managers to understand client needs and define recruitment action plans to connect with targeted IT talent. Collaborate with Account Managers to execute best practices, source candidates through online searches, social media, and networking events, and establish targeted talent pipelines. Pre-screen prospective candidates, manage the selection process to ensure talent fit, and record activities in our Applicant Tracking/CRM Software. Make outbound calls, emails, and texts to initiate contact with IT professionals while maintaining key client relationships throughout the recruiting lifecycle. This role is part of our internal career progression program and includes training for entry-level candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Record of tangible achievement from a production-oriented role in professional services
- Exceptional research skills and ability to efficiently execute standardized tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization via a variety of channels (written and verbal) and externally in a professional and articulate manner
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high-level attention to detail
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities
- Adaptable to change and a quick learner
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be based within the Kansas City or surrounding area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Two years professional experience as an IT Recruiter
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of customers, candidates, and teammates
