Job Summary
Technical Quoting Specialist responsible for analyzing customer specifications and drawings to determine feasibility and generate detailed quotes for standard and custom tooling (punches, dies, and press brake tooling). Collaborates with engineering and sales to ensure feasible design considerations and accurate costing, provides technical guidance on tooling selection, materials, coatings, and tolerances, and assists in troubleshooting tooling applications with customers. Requires hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience, ability to conceptualize punch and die designs from customer requirements, and proficiency with CAD/blueprints; SolidWorks, SAP, and MS Excel are preferred. Strong verbal and written communication and a solution-oriented approach are essential, with minimum 5 years of technical experience in tooling or sheet metal fabrication and an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
