Job Summary
Technical Quality Assurance Inspector III responsible for performing visual, dimensional and electrical inspections of manufacturing goods during and after production; interpret complex prints and diagrams to approve/reject assemblies; may support root cause analysis of non-conformances and continuous improvement; provide guidance to Level 1-2 inspectors, assist in audits, and draft work instructions/SOPs while maintaining documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office tools. Requires experience with GD&T, aerospace/defense quality standards (AS9100), NASA/IPC certifications, and inspection tooling; applicable to in-process and final inspections of items, sub-assemblies, and final systems.
Required Qualifications
- Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience
- Certifications: Progress towards multiple NASA and IPC industry standard certifications
- Completion of basic GD&T training
- Understanding of technical schematics and documents
- Understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- Functional use and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to understand and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs
