Job Summary
Define technical requirements for equipment, materials, and services by collaborating with technical teams to document specifications. Source and qualify suppliers by evaluating potential vendors based on capability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, conducting site visits and audits as necessary. Create and manage Requests for Proposals or Quotations, ensuring clear specifications and evaluation criteria. Negotiate terms and agreements regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms while drafting and reviewing contracts. Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluations of quality, delivery, and cost, maintaining records to drive continuous improvement. Verify purchased goods meet requirements before final acceptance and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately. This role supports M.C. Dean's mission-critical cyber-physical solutions for global enterprises.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or similar discipline
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
