Job Summary
Research engineering records, vendor data, and perform hands-on disassembly of forklift components to create Operator, Service, and Repair Manuals. Develop raster and vector technical illustrations using CAD software like Siemens NX, then route documents for review with engineering, legal, and global affiliates in South Korea, Vietnam, and Germany. Incorporate feedback to revise content and prepare final publications for print and digital distribution. Prioritize project schedules to ensure on-time completion while maintaining detailed product knowledge and staying current on technical writing trends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 2-3+ years of experience in technical writing, technical illustration, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Genuine interest in how CLARK products function
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficient with desktop publishing software (Adobe InDesign and FrameMaker)
- Proficient with illustration software (Lattice XVL Studio, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, TechSmith Snagit)
- Proficient with CAD (Siemens NX)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely and without sponsorship
