Job Summary
Technical Project Specialist to provide advanced technical support, manage project execution, and support sales and business development initiatives. Responsibilities include product selection, costing, proposal development, and solution design; translating customer requirements into accurate quotations and technical recommendations; performing hydraulic calculations and pump performance evaluations; creating and following up on quotations; coordinating orders with vendors; engaging with customers to understand process requirements; ensuring timelines, specifications, documentation, and compliance; maintaining technical reports and ITPs; and contributing to continuous improvement and sales growth. The role requires a college diploma in a related field, strong technical and communication skills, ERP/CRM proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable bilingual (English and French).
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in a related field
- 6 to 9 years of experience in technical sales, application support, engineering, or a related environment
- Experience with product selection, costing, proposal development, and technical quotations
- Experience performing hydraulic calculations, pump performance evaluations, and engineering analysis
- Proficiency with ERP, CRM, order entry, and quoting systems (Epicor P21 or similar preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Customer focused with strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Desirable: Bilingual (English and French)
