Job Summary
Execute medium-size projects by ensuring all activities align with procedures, regulations, and targets while leading team members to deliver contracted results. Establish the project execution approach, oversee planning and monitoring for internal and external resources, and control project progress, resource utilization, and financials. Manage project risks, identify opportunities, and drive formal acceptance and contract close-out in accordance with the agreement. This role is primarily remote for California candidates or on-site in the Western US, reporting to the Service Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business Field)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong reputation for customer focus
- Must be able to read Engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment
- Must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Must be located in California that will work remotely
- Must be located in the Western US (Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, western Texas)
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or Business Field (preferred)
- PMP certification
- Demonstrated experience with ERP (SAP)
- Experience with MS Word
- Experience with MS Project
- Experience with MS Excel
- Experience with MS PowerPoint
- Experience with other office software
