Job Summary
Technical Project Manager on the West Coast responsible for leading multi-site data center deployment projects from design through day-2 operations. Manages full lifecycle of infrastructure deployments including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover; acts as primary liaison with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams; oversees resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation; ensures compliance with industry standards and internal quality practices; maintains comprehensive project documentation and provides regular progress updates. Requires strong leadership and communication, deep knowledge of data center infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, power, cooling), and experience guiding teams to deliver high-performance AI workloads. Travel to up to 60% of locations is expected. Preferred certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) and familiarity with HPC/AI infrastructure and liquid-to-chip cooling are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of demonstrated experience in data center deployment, infrastructure project management, or technical project management within a data center environment
- Project management skills and experience
