Job Summary
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate roadmap priorities into executable engineering plans and lead planning from requirements through deployment. Develop timelines, track dependencies across multiple workstreams, and coordinate releases for web, mobile, API, and backend teams while monitoring project health with quantitative metrics. Facilitate sprint ceremonies, drive technical decision-making, and surface risks to stakeholders early. Serve as the key technical point of contact for external partners, gathering requirements and managing competing priorities across organizational boundaries. This remote role in Eastern Time supports Talkspace's mission to deliver quality mental healthcare to over two million users.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical project management experience
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
- Experience coordinating complex projects across multiple engineering teams, technical workstreams, and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solver who identifies risks, dependencies, and blockers before they impact project delivery
- Collaborative leader who builds trust through strong judgment, accountability, and follow-through
- Comfortable participating in technical discussions and working closely with engineers and engineering leadership
- Experience managing external partners, vendors, customers, or other stakeholders through complex technical projects
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to adapt processes based on team and project needs
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare experience, particularly in regulated environments
- Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, EHRs, or other healthcare technology partners
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare software development
- Experience with API, platform, or backend engineering projects
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, GitHub, or similar project management platforms
