Job Summary
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while keeping ceremonies short and actionable. Identify and resolve blockers related to technical, people, or process issues to maintain team focus and on-time delivery. Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog remains clear and prioritize work for the next sprint. Monitor team velocity and progress, sharing updates with stakeholders to track speed and output. Shield the team from distractions, extra requests, and interruptions during sprints to sustain momentum. Convert retrospective feedback into concrete improvements for subsequent sprints. Requires 3+ years of Scrum Master experience, a Bachelor's degree in CS or IT, and proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years working as a Scrum Master
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar
- Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certification: CSM, PSM I/II, or PMI-ACP
- Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools like XLDeploy/XLRelease
