Job Summary
Technical Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and oversight of advanced long-range fires programs for the Marine Corps, coordinating with government stakeholders, program offices, warfighters, engineers, and industry partners. Responsibilities include translating operational needs into executable technical and programmatic plans, managing cost/schedule/performance/risk across multiple development efforts, serving as primary interface with USMC stakeholders and senior leadership, overseeing system integration, test planning and execution (developmental testing, operational assessments, safety testing, certification, field experimentation), and managing contracts with documentation deliverables. Travel approximately 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or BA degree in business from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of experience supporting Science & Technology or Defense Acquisition-related efforts; total of 12 years’ experience without a degree
- Knowledge of DoD research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) process and funding mechanisms
- Demonstrated experience supporting or managing weapon systems and development efforts
- Active TS/SCI clearance
