Job Summary
Manage and oversee complex mainframe projects end to end, applying Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery models, while organizing technology initiatives across multiple teams to remove blockers and accelerate delivery. Build reporting mechanisms that control execution and create predictable paths for large, complex efforts, serving as the primary source of truth for project status. Evaluate designs against scalability, latency, security, and performance metrics, communicating confidently with stakeholders at multiple levels and working directly with external technology providers. Lead through ambiguity to drive outcomes from inception through delivery across the full stack of services and domains.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience managing and leading complex mainframe projects
- understanding mainframe concepts and terminology
- Active mainframe certification
- Working knowledge of GDPS
- Strong project execution and delivery management experience across Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity
- align cross functional and dependent teams
