Job Summary
Technical Project Manager for KBR’s ASTRO contract at Maui, Hawaii. Responsibilities include supporting high-tempo mission support and operations, planning, cost analysis management, and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in coordination with the Experimental Equipment Maintenance Manager. Collaborates with technical and programmatic experts to develop resource-constrained execution plans, translates requirements, documents dependencies, and prioritizes resources across the program. Tailors resource scheduling based on Agile scheduling principles to ensure timely delivery of technical solutions. Work environment permits work-from-home when compatible with contract requirements; minimal travel to Haleakala telescope facilities in Hawaii. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, DoD/space Domain awareness familiarity, and ability to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of relevant experience in technical program management
- Deep knowledge of DoD planning and scheduling processes, Agile processes, and life-cycle planning for evolving capabilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to persuade at senior levels
- PMP certification (desired)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Program Management Professional certification
- Experience with Space-Domain Awareness mission area
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
