Job Summary
Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure operations, service delivery, and modernization initiatives for a Federal client. You will be the primary interface between customer stakeholders, technical teams, and vendor partners to ensure successful delivery of operational services and infrastructure projects, providing leadership for modernization efforts, service delivery management, and cross-functional initiatives while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and performance objectives. The role requires working onsite in Washington, D.C., five days a week, with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Responsibilities span project and service delivery management, infrastructure operations oversight, stakeholder engagement, risk and process management, Agile/traditional project management, and comprehensive reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience managing infrastructure operations, IT service delivery, technical projects, or enterprise technology initiatives
- Experience in Federal Government environments
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- Experience supporting infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or enterprise technology transformation
- Experience with ITIL, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office Suite
- Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence
- Project scheduling, resource planning, and risk management
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Windows and Linux server environments
- Networking and telecommunications infrastructure
- Identity and access management
- Storage and backup technologies
- Cybersecurity operations and compliance requirements
- Experience creating dashboards and executive-level reporting using Power BI or similar tools
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
