Job Summary
Technical Project Manager II to drive silicon hardware development programs with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing silicon vendors to deliver material for engineering proto builds, creating engineering build matrix and schedule, driving vendor delivery, collaborating with engineering leads to resolve technical, material and schedule issues, handling scope change requests, setting up and managing communication between internal and external teams (Jira, Google Drive), maintaining engineering requirement specs and BOMs, tracking budgets, ensuring proper NDA/TPA agreements, managing silicon material builds for NPI products, tracking wafers through foundry to downstream teams, forecasting sample needs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while mitigating risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and adept at driving multi-functional teams
- Hardware/Silicon material management experience is a plus
- Top-notch critical thinking skill set; big picture program understanding and details
- Experience managing, prioritizing and maintaining multiple projects at a time
- Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of all data, status and reports
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to react to changes in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to work with overseas vendors across Europe and Asia time zones
- Ability to operate in fast paced situations
- A Self-starter who can function with ambiguity
- Experience with Gsuite tools (Sheet, Docs, Slides, Drive)
