Job Summary
As a Technical Project Manager II within the Fluids and Propulsion Engineering team, you will enhance execution across the entire product lifecycle, from research to final flight hardware design and production. Key responsibilities include driving projects, managing budgets and schedules, leading scope management, and aligning team performance with program goals. Required skills include proven supplier management, project/program management experience, expertise in scheduling and risk management, and proficiency in scheduling software. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields is mandatory, along with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing suppliers with scheduling challenges
- Experience in flowing contract changes to suppliers
- 5+ years managing projects/programs
- Expertise in critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and cost account management
- Proficiency in P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software
- Corporate and subcontract financial experience
- Collaborative and effective problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in all formats
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cryogenic liquid, gas distribution, and propulsion systems
- Familiarity with cryogenic valves and pumps
- MBA or equivalent experience
- PMP certification and EVMS experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot
