Job Summary
Support project scheduling using Primavera P6, including data quality checks, integration tasks, and schedule analysis. Manage and ensure the timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects by establishing technical requirements, defining deliverables, budgets, and schedules, and overseeing the team from initiation to completion. Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business domains to align solutions with project objectives. Produce specific products or services to meet customer requirements and develop processes to meet programmatic needs. Demonstrate skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost and schedule guidance. Identify cost trends for management attention and ensure work is completed as scheduled. Requires U.S. citizenship, government clearance, and 8+ years of experience in project controls within DOE/NNSA. Based in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- United States (U.S.) citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated initiative and independence—able to take a concept from idea to delivered product without heavy direction
- Strong communication skills across both technical and business contexts
- Experience in project controls within DOE/NNSA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous-improvement mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of LANL Project Controls procedures, policies, and processes, and DOE O 413.3B EVMS requirements
