Job Summary
Technical Project Manager responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and finalisation of technical projects focusing on core IT infrastructure, network architecture, and retail technology deployments across Endeavour Group’s hospitality and retail footprint. The role requires translating business requirements into technical deliverables, managing vendor relationships and contracts, overseeing testing (SIT/UAT) and quality assurance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders, maintain oversight of budgets and change management, and apply project-management methodologies to modernise systems, including operating system uplifts, hardware refreshes, core network components, cloud and telephony solutions, while operating in a hybrid work environment (Sydney or Melbourne, 3 days in office). This position emphasizes stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivering value through technology in a retail/hospitality context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of technical project management experience
- Demonstrable experience with core IT infrastructure and networks (WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, Telco services, virtualization, cloud services such as Azure/GCP), data center technologies
- Proven experience in contract management and negotiation with technology vendors and MSPs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Significant experience in retail or hospitality sector technology deployments that impact operations
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable
