Job Summary
Technical Project Manager - Data & AI role focusing on managing project scope, timelines, budget impacts, and change requests across data engineering, data science, and data visualization initiatives. Responsible for standing up new projects, coordinating cross-functional teams across time zones, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality deliverables. Uses advanced SQL for data analysis, designs experiments and predictive recommendations to inform project decisions, and creates cost estimations while ensuring proper QA and risk mitigation. Strong emphasis on stakeholder communication, developing project plans with clear deliverables, and driving productivity improvements across multicultural teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager supporting Data Engineering, Data Science and Data Visualization teams, preferably in a consulting environment
- 2+ years in a management role leading small teams, handling budgets, managing stakeholders and taking executive actions
- Proficiency in key areas, demonstrating successful project management with a technical focus
