Job Summary
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of web application projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product designers, and QA to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and allocate resources effectively. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact timelines and deliverables. Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, key milestones, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and management. Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement continuous improvements. This contract role supports a startup client by transforming ambitious ideas into successful products while navigating evolving priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ yrs experience managing technical projects for external clients, preferably in a start-up or technology-driven environment
- Experience managing web platform configuration, customization, and administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
- Familiarity/experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Jira
