Job Summary
Lead and mentor development teams to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade Java-based applications in the Banking & Financial Services domain. Define application architecture, technical standards, and best practices; review designs, code quality, and deployment strategies; drive technical decisions and ensure security, performance, and scalability. Design RESTful APIs and distributed systems using Java/JSP/Spring, guide microservices implementation, Kafka-based event-driven solutions, and integration with third-party systems. Manage delivery in an Agile environment (Scrum/Lean/Kanban/SAFe), estimate effort and timelines, coordinate QA/DevOps/infrastructure, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders. Partner with business users and leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver working software to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8–15 years of experience
- Strong expertise in Java, JSP, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and Enterprise Application Architecture
- Experience leading development teams and delivering complex enterprise solutions
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services domain and collaboration with business stakeholders
