Job Summary
Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT initiatives supporting DARPA research efforts, including engineering projects, cybersecurity initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise technology deployments. Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, risk registries, and budgets while utilizing Jira as the primary project management tool. Coordinate solution delivery across ITD and external organizations, ensuring deliverables meet acceptance criteria and quality standards with Section Chief approval. Identify and mitigate project risks, communicate status to stakeholders, and complete Weekly Activity Reports. Define quarterly resource capacity and facilitate communication among project teams and stakeholders. Apply Agile principles to foster a collaborative environment and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting large federal or DoD programs
- Active DoD Top Secret
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
- Proven experience leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and principles
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in the Jira project management tool
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
