Job Summary
Lead technical projects from the quoting stage through mass production by awarding new projects with comprehensive technical solutions and defining achievable specifications with cross-functional teams. Drive flawless launches by setting internal timelines, coordinating project meetings to resolve open items, and managing customer relationships as the primary technical contact for Tier 1 and OEM partners. Monitor project costs, manufacturing tooling expenses, and technical risks while ensuring adherence to APQP, PPAP, and FMEA standards. Coordinate design, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to support engineering change requests and meet phase-gate requirements. Manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 7 years of project management experience in the automotive supply chain
- Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and DFMEA processes
- Ability to travel as needed to visit customers, production sites, and suppliers (10%)
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification is a plus
- Background in RF/coaxial connectors, wiring harnesses, high-speed data transmission is a plus
