Job Summary
Manage assigned technical construction scope, project deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, and turnover activities from initiation through completion. Support and lead project teams in planning, tracking, and executing discrete technical construction scope within a DOE Hazard Category 2 facility. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards related to construction and work execution. Coordinate effectively with construction, operations, and support organizations, including radiological control, criticality safety, nuclear safety, and occupational safety. Ensure project activities comply with DOE/NNSA requirements, nuclear security protocols, and NQA-1 standards. This role manages project activities aligned with Triad's prime contract and NNSA/DOE 413.3B requirements. Reports to the Manager of Projects (MOP) for day-to-day administrative and operational management of an assigned project/program area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation
- Prior nuclear facility and/or laboratory experience
- Recent and relevant experience supporting active decontamination and decommissioning (D&D), construction, testing, and turnover in a DOE and/or NNSA setting
- Experience working under NQA-1 requirements in a nuclear facility environment
- Extensive experience working compliantly within strict nuclear security and classification environments
- Active Q clearance
- Experience developing, managing, or supporting project work packages, control accounts, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables
- US citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Prior construction experience, particularly supporting work in a nuclear facility
- Experience with work planning and controls in a DOE or NNSA nuclear facility environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across construction, operations, radiological control, criticality safety, nuclear safety, occupational safety, and other support organizations
- Strong communication, coordination, and project execution skills in highly regulated nuclear security and classification environments
