Job Summary
As a Technical Project Leader, you will oversee the development of exterior plastic parts from concept to serial production. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs and defining product specifications, ensuring design for manufacturing, leading risk analysis and design reviews, and managing product validation. You will act as the main technical interface with customers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and monitor the development budget while supporting cost optimization initiatives. The role requires a Master's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, along with 5-10 years of experience in plastic parts development for automotive applications.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mechanical or plastics Engineering
- 5–10 years’ experience in plastic parts development (automotive)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of plastic design, injection molding, material, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience in technical project management and cross-functional coordination
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English and German
- Willingness to travel
