Job Summary
Own the technical critical path of new-product development programs from concept through production release, managing design decisions, integrations, and verifications across electrical, mechanical, software, optics, and systems teams. Ensure design outputs are complete and defensible at every gate, document technical trade-offs, and provide the readiness signal for sign-off. Identify early technical risks, drive mitigation across the program, and lead root-cause analysis when failures threaten milestones. Assign engineering tasks, drive technical status at program meetings, and represent engineering with customers and leadership. This role reports directly to the SVP of Engineering and requires on-site presence at Seek Thermal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Optical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- 2+ years owning the technical critical path of embedded hardware/software programs
- at least one shipped sensing or electro-optical product taken through production
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as required by ITAR/EAR export control regulations
