Job Summary
Lead day-to-day delivery of a five-year legacy transformation programme, coordinating engineering, business, and third-party supplier workstreams. Validate progress, scope, and delivery evidence directly through Jira and Confluence while managing plans, milestones, budgets, risks, and cross-programme dependencies. Drive Agile planning, backlog management, prioritisation, and release coordination to ensure clear actions and decisions for senior stakeholders. Facilitate governance forums, prepare executive presentations, and build trusted relationships across teams to remove blockers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading large-scale technical transformation, modernisation or platform replacement programmes
- Evidence of delivering complex technology programmes of comparable scale, ideally £10 million-plus
- Strong hands-on capability with Jira and Confluence, including validating progress against scope
- Experience working across engineering teams, business stakeholders and external suppliers
- Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe or hybrid delivery environments
- Strong programme governance, risk, dependency and financial management capability
- Confidence producing and presenting concise material for senior and executive stakeholders
- An inclusive, pragmatic leadership style with the confidence to challenge constructively
