Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of project and program managers while overseeing a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives for Fiserv Technology Services. Drive adoption of project, program, and portfolio management frameworks, establish quality controls and stage gates, and deliver executive-level reporting on portfolio health and strategic initiatives. Manage portfolio budgets, forecasting activities, and resource capacity in alignment with Infrastructure Delivery Lifecycle standards. This role requires flexibility to work overtime including weekends and holidays, with approximately 5-10% travel. The position is on-site Monday through Friday and requires legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale projects, programs, or portfolios within complex enterprise environments
- Experience overseeing project and program delivery across a broad portfolio of technology initiatives
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and coaching
- Deep expertise in project, program, and portfolio management methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices
- Proven success driving organizational change and increasing project management maturity across large enterprises
- Experience with resource management, capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington
- Must be able to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
- Must be able to travel approximately 5-10% off-site or to other office locations
- Must be able to use a computer and audio equipment
- Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience implementing or enhancing PMO governance frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Expertise with enterprise project and portfolio management tools
- Financial services, fintech, or large-scale technology services experience
- Experience leading strategic transformation or operational excellence initiatives
