Job Summary
Lead the definition, design, and development of complex components, modules, and subsystems within the Epi manufacturing division, aligning with Market Requirement Specifications; contribute to system engineering specifications across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, software) and drive architecture brainstorming and down-selection. Coordinate with project marketing, management, and engineering teams to understand subsystem requirements; build, procure, and qualify prototypes or subsystems; identify and resolve engineering challenges with manufacturability and serviceability in mind. Provide onsite and remote technical support to field teams, vendors, and customers (travel as required); serve as Program Coordinator for DCR and Sequoia projects; identify cost-reduction opportunities; manage vendor engagement and design change validation; plan and execute experiments to support Sequoia initiatives; create and release engineering and manufacturing documentation (e.g., iOMS). Requirements include a degree in engineering, subsystem design experience, strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, familiarity with testing and validation, and willingness to travel; workLocation is Upper Changi.
