Job Summary
Define technical requirements, set priorities, and establish project scope by collaborating with engineering, product, and cybersecurity teams. Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to serve as the single source of truth, proactively reporting status, identifying risks, and distilling complex technical issues for leadership. Lead annual and quarterly OKR planning processes to ensure product teams drive toward measurable goals while removing roadblocks. Manage cross-functional dependencies and resource allocation to optimize scope and schedule in a fast-shifting environment. Identify inefficiencies and drive internal process improvements by reducing manual efforts through automation and creative problem-solving. Drive teams to stay on plan and within budget while aggressively tracking and closing technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practice experience
- Ability to speak engineer and understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) deeply
- Experience assisting in the management of operational excellence or incident management programs for heavy-traffic software applications
- Highly organized with a Type-A approach to project management
- Proven ability to develop efficient organizational mechanisms and implement metrics/KPIs to measure success
- Self-starter who can identify technical and non-technical risks before they become problems
- Ability to develop strategic roadmaps that align with company-wide objectives
- Genuine love for music and a desire to innovate within the industry
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in technical project/program management
- Equivalent software engineering experience
- A highly technical internship at a reputable tech company
- Exposure to or experience with infrastructure, platform systems, and the migration or deprecation of distributed systems
- Experience shipping consumer-facing software at scale
- Experience with issue tracking and work management software such as Jira and Airtable
- Experience with AI tools to automate repeated manual processes
