Job Summary
Own day-to-day execution of complex technical projects and programs, developing plans, schedules, and milestones while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, AI/ML, product, and government organizations. Track progress, identify risks and blockers, and drive teams toward clear deliverables by managing dependencies and facilitating planning meetings. Serve as the key point of contact for government customers, translating mission objectives into actionable technical plans and managing expectations around scope and schedule. Ensure project execution aligns with security, compliance, and operational requirements while standardizing program management practices across Accrete Government.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in leading teams, technical project management, program management, engineering project management, or a related role
- Willingness to work 50% - 100% time on client site
- Experience managing complex technical projects involving software, data, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, or other technology
- Experience working directly with engineering and technical teams
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern engineering practices
- Ability to understand technical requirements, system dependencies, and engineering constraints
- Strong project planning, organizational, and execution skills
- Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, or stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers as well as senior executives and government customers
- Experience identifying and managing project risks, dependencies, and blockers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organization across complex programs
- Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence or Lifestyle Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other federal customers
- Experience working in a government contracting or national security environment
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other modern software development methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
- PMP, CSM, or similar certification
- Experience working in classified, secure, or air-gapped environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional security clearance accesses to Special Access Programs (SAP) or Access Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM)
