Technical Program Manager, Supplier Engineering & Quality

Job Summary
Manage multiple programs and projects to lead cross-functional team efforts that improve quality performance across Applied's global supply chain. Develop project plans from conception through implementation, defining objectives and coordinating with internal customers to achieve performance targets. Utilize project management software to track schedules, resolve complications, and develop solutions for resolution while improving business processes and dashboards. Provide status reports to management and contribute to the organization's strategy and Annual Operating Plans. This role requires 7-10 years of high tech experience with a preferred PM certification and quality management background. Full-time position in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA with 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 - 10 years in high tech/industrial sectors
- at least 3-year experience in program/project management
- Management/administration of programs/projects from initiation/establishment, risk management, execution/status reporting until conclusion and closure
- PM certification strongly preferred
- Prior work experience in Quality, Quality Management Systems, Quality Audit/Assessment preferred
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
