Job Summary
Technical Program Manager for Scale’s Generative AI Platform (SGP) responsible for end-to-end execution of infrastructure initiatives (orchestration layers, model serving, APIs) across platform engineering, product, and leadership. Own strategic alignment, cross-functional collaboration, translating complex infrastructure metrics into actionable roadmaps (LLM inference optimization, GPU utilization, compute orchestration), proactively mitigate risks, establish agile processes, define SLOs and performance benchmarks, and track adoption and reliability metrics to ensure global-scale deployment. Requires 5+ years in TPM/PM/Software Eng, platform/infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, distributed systems), AI/ML infrastructure literacy, and strong executive-level communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Software Engineer
- Platform Domain Expertise: 3+ years managing programs focused on core engineering infrastructure, cloud-native ecosystems (AWS/GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes), or distributed systems
- AI/ML Infrastructure Literacy: understanding of high-throughput data pipelines, GPU/CPU cluster utilization, or model training/evaluation setups
- Masterful Communication: ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and translate challenges into business impacts
- Execution Excellence: proficiency with iterative development methodologies and project management tooling (Linear, Jira, etc.)
