Job Summary
Lead a team of TPMs and PGMs to deliver complex, cross-cutting programs that advance Stripe's mission. Define and execute long-term vision for company-wide initiatives while hiring, coaching, and growing high-performing individuals across multiple locations. Define success criteria, track risks, and ensure successful execution of critical programs by making substantial improvements to team communication and operational efficiency. Manage performance reviews and career development conversations to drive individual growth within the Risk team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience of varying seniority, including managing managers
- 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience
- Extensive experience in finding and growing talent through coaching, mentoring, and career development conversations
- Experience driving technical programs from ideation to delivery at scale and leading teams of Technical Program Managers who have done the same
- Experience operating autonomously and leading across multiple teams, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership

- Past experience as an engineer or similar technical role
