Job Summary
Lead customer programs from internal handoff through manufacturing launch by coordinating engineering, tooling, quality, suppliers, and production teams. Review product and tooling concepts for manufacturability, evaluate technical issues affecting quality or performance, and resolve drawing, tolerance, and 3D model challenges. Manage schedules, priorities, risks, and customer communication while supporting trials, qualification activities, and post-launch manufacturing issues. Identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes, labor, and cost across multiple development phases. This hands-on role helps improve project execution for precision-molded products in Western Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical project or program management experience
- Experience launching precision-molded products from tooling through production
- Injection mold design, tooling, DFM, and molding troubleshooting experience
- Drawing, tolerance, and 3D model interpretation skills
- Experience managing technical customer relationships
- Microsoft Office and project scheduling software proficiency
