Job Summary
Shape finance and tax initiatives from day one by partnering with cross-business teams to translate compliance requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering. Design implementation across SAP and related systems, acting as the trusted point of contact between requirement owners and delivery teams to ensure solutions solve actual business problems. Leverage AI tooling to draft first-pass specs, catch inconsistencies early, and accelerate solution design while verifying that proposed matches stated requirements. Bring open questions to leadership with clear proposed ways forward, driving alignment through influence and trust rather than formal authority. Work within a newly created senior individual contributor role at Pullach headquarters, near Munich, supporting the SAP S/4 migration.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in technical program or project management, business/systems analysis, or a techno-functional consulting role
- Ideally with exposure to finance, tax, or compliance-driven system requirements
- Ability to read a compliance or business requirement and turn it into a clear technical specification
- Knowledge of the difference between a technical call and a legal or tax judgment call
- Intelligence about SAP and comfort working across other systems around it
- Ability to have informed, productive conversations with SAP architects about integration, data flow, and constraints
- Ability to spot when a proposed solution doesn't quite add up
- Ability to bring multiple stakeholders and teams together around a shared plan
- Ability to drive alignment through influence and trust rather than formal authority
- Ability to verify before building that a proposed solution actually matches the stated requirement
- Ability to communicate clearly and directly
- Comfort flagging an open question or risk early rather than letting it sit
- Experience using AI tooling as a genuine lever in how you work
- Ability to accelerate solution design and stress test integration concepts early
- Ability to bring open questions to leadership with a clear proposed way forward
- Ability to get the technical solution right and coordinated without taking over someone else's roadmap, resourcing, or delivery
- Ability to translate compliance and business requirements from Tax, Accounting, Treasury, and other Finance teams into clear technical requirements engineering teams can build against
- Ability to design how requirements get implemented across SAP and the systems around it
- Ability to know a solution actually works and solves the business problem it's meant to solve
- Ability to catch inconsistencies across requirements before they get expensive
- Ability to get faster from an open question to a proposed answer
- Ability to draft first-pass specs from scattered stakeholder input
