Job Summary
Own all commercial delivery of services across concurrent projects in the ASEAN and Greater China region, ranging from single-person engagements to multi-person teams. Define, manage, and mitigate risk by enforcing project reporting, milestone tracking, and financial management to accelerate customer success. Collaborate with account management teams to execute handovers from sales to delivery and ensure accurate reporting on project activity. Manage both time-and-materials and fixed-price engagements while mentoring team members in a high-paced environment. Travel expected across the region.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience successfully managing and overseeing big data projects with teams of up to 5 people with contract values in excess of $0.5 million
- Experience in managing enterprise scale projects, with global deployments ideally within the big data and analytics industry domain
- Experience of industry project management techniques including agile project delivery ideally with PMI/PRINCE/AGILE certification
- Good communication and analytical skills with ability to mentor team members to achieve success
- Initiative, determination and a high degree of resourcefulness
- Strong commercial focus and will have managed both T&M and Fixed Price project engagements
- Travel expected across the region
