Job Summary
Lead integration, test, verification, and demonstration efforts for Autonomous Underwater Vessels and their payloads across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Drive technical outcomes through system performance analysis, incident response, and after-action reviews to quantify improvements for customer communication. Ensure successful program execution on schedule and budget while managing risks, schedules, and contract deliverables including change orders and financial management. Interface with DoD/USN customers to represent the technical Maritime portfolio and support follow-on business capture. Support engineering teams in high-paced integration and debug cycles, leading formal test events and mobilization logistics for offshore deployments. Travel 25%-40% of the time for customer meetings, engineering exchanges, and testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering or related technical engineering field
- Passion for hardware development and relationship building
- 10+ years of robotics experience
- Specifically in technical project management and/or systems engineering
- Or related project management and/or systems engineering experience in a relevant industry
- Strong familiarity with system test, integration and troubleshooting
- Experience leading or executing product development of any type of system from TRL 3-8
- Understanding of government contract structure and reporting
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Experience developing material and read out for regular - monthly, quarterly program reviews
- Experience developing and maintaining a schedule with Microsoft project or similar tool
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

- Experience integrating communication and/or subsea sensors
- Experience with government acquisition and reporting processes and government contracts
- Experience interfacing with DoD/USN/MoD customers
