Job Summary
Lead Block Upgrade Planning for aircraft automation by taking ownership of strategic planning and execution of enhancements through block upgrades for type-certified aircraft. Develop robust frameworks in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to support requirement validation and establish comprehensive plans for regulatory certification. Pioneer new solutions by scoping, prioritizing, and problem-solving complex challenges from inception through aircraft certification and field introduction while managing project risks. Serve as the bridge between research and development, hardware engineering, software development, and flight operations to ensure alignment on autonomy principles and avionics systems. Proactively identify risks across technology readiness levels and resource allocation to inform trade-off analyses and resolve conflicts. Champion scalable processes and adaptable program structures that facilitate rapid innovation while maintaining efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven program experiences in advanced technology development
- Ideally autonomy, robotics, aerospace, automotive or related industries
- Strong ability to manage scope, uncertainty and complexity
- Record of delivering programs where success wasn't guaranteed
- Solid technical literacy in one or more areas

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
