Job Summary
Technical Program Manager for Advanced Effects within Anduril's Test and Evaluation group. Responsible for coordinating integration, maintenance, and testing strategies; leading test activities including personnel, equipment, datalinks, test facilities, and compliance; acting as a Project Engineer for small UAS, missiles, or weapon systems to oversee development, certification, and integration tests; guiding test and integration efforts at system and subsystem levels; producing and communicating flight test plans, procedures, flight cards, and reports; coordinating cross-department test events; participating in requirements development and design reviews; supporting safety review boards and test readiness reviews; leading RCCA initiatives; creating system documentation (manuals, checklists, acceptance procedures); ensuring adherence to safety procedures and regulatory obligations; and managing schedule and resources across programs while interfacing with leadership and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of test engineering experience
- Ability to travel as required for planning and testing
- Experience with MIL-STD-8591, MIL-STD-2088, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS8775, AS5653
- Experience in SRM or liquid propulsion systems testing
- Expertise with National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory; broad application across related technical specialties
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly, organize and coordinate work phases, and provide solutions to complex problems
- Ability to troubleshoot in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
- Experience with system engineering tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience as a test director, test conductor, or equivalent on flying systems
- Experience working with the DoD
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS; ability to retrieve data from software platforms via command-line tools
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with tools and electronics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; leadership experience
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Willingness to travel for planning and testing
