Job Summary
Technical Program Director responsible for end-to-end execution of multimillion-dollar defense hardware programs, leading IPTs across manufacturing and engineering, and interfacing with prime contractors and government customers on hypersonic and aerospace metallic structures; requires deep program management, Earned Value Management (EVM) capability, and strong cost/schedule/risk management with ability to communicate effectively with customers and engineers, including ITAR-compliant operations; travel up to ~25–35%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in program management on defense hardware programs
- Experience leading IPTs or cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority
- Direct experience interfacing with defense prime contractors or government program offices
- 25–35% travel availability
- Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-controlled environment
- Background in metallic structures, subassemblies, or fabricated hardware (machining, welding, sheet metal forming)
